Institute of Computer Graphics (IGD), we are advantageously located
directly across the Fraunhofer IGD building, the place where top scientists
of the computergraphic industry congress.
Your way to us from:
Freeway intersection (Autobahnkreuz) Darmstadt
- freeway exit "Darmstadt/Stadtmitte"(city): Follow
"Rheinstrasse" through the city tunnel. At the end
of the city tunnel, turn left and follow the "Cityring".
At the first large t-crossing turn left into "Kirchstrasse".
At the next crossing, turn right into "Landgraf-Georg-Strasse".
Closely to the next traffic lights/bus station you will have
to take a u-turn. Take the next street to your right, direction
Darmstadtium and Fraunhofer IGD, the "Fraunhoferstrasse".
Follow that short road until the next junction to your right.
You have now reached the oneway "Rundeturmstrasse".
After 50 metres you will find MedCom to your left. MedCom is
located at the 3rd floor at Rundeturmstrasse 12, just behind
the small relic of historic city wall.
Take the tramway
no. 2 or 9 (direction "Böllenfalltor"), no. 4
or 5 (direction "Kranichstein"), bus F (direction
"Oberwaldhaus") or bus H (direction "Kesselhutweg").
After the second halt you step out at the center of Darmstadt,
the "Luisenplatz". Now change to bus L (direction
"Ostbahnhof"). Exit at "Teichhausstraße/Mercksplatz".
Cross the street "Landgraf-Georg-Straße" and
walk down the "Landgraf-Georg-Straße" a little,
then turn into the next street on the right side, the Merckstraße.
Afterwards take directly the next street on the left, the "Rundeturmstraße"
for about 50 metres. Stop at the red buildig on the right side,
shortly before the small relic of historic city wall. You will
find MedCom at the 3rd floor at Rundeturmstrasse 12.
The "Airliner" provides a bus transfer
every (half an) hour from the Airport Frankfurt to the Central
Bus Station in Darmstadt which is in front of the Central Train
Station (bus stop "no. 20"). From here you can catch
either the tramway no. 2 or 9 (direction "Böllenfalltor"),
no. 4 or 5 (direction "Kranichstein"), bus F (direction
"Oberwaldhaus") or bus H (direction "Kesselhutweg").

From "Luisenplatz", follow the pedestrian
zone (Rheinstrasse) cross Ernst-Ludwig-Square with its statue
and pass the castle. At the end of the pedestrian zone follow
the "Landgraf-Georg-Strasse" about 100 meters. Then
bend into the first small side street on the left (sign to Fraunhofer
IGD) the "Fraunhoferstraße". Afterwards
turn directly into the street on the right, the "Rundeturmstraße".
Follow the footpath straight ahead and stop at the red buildig
on the left side, shortly after the small relic of historic
city wall. Youwill find MedCom at the 3rd floor at Rundeturmstrasse
12.
