we consider tools to enable or support minimal invasive
procedures, which involve the placement of needles within
the human body, for example RF treatments or biopsies.
These tools either simplify the workflow, speed up the
process or improve the accuracy of minimal invasive procedures
by using dedicated ultrasound based techniques or a combination
of different modalities along with tracked instruments.
MedCom's NaviSuite combines life ultrasound imaging with
pre-recorded 3D scans like CT data to support any kind
of procedures needed to identify a target within the human
body. Biopsee is a new, advanced technology system with
a dedicated ultrasound device for prostate cancer diagnosis
and biopsie.
