Client/Server Database for Image Archiving

All MedCom-Products own a unified database interface, which allows the storage of relevant patient and image information.
For hospitals and users who want to access their data from more than one place, MedCom offers a Client/Server-based image archiving system.
Example of a MiniPACS Client/Server Database
This system provides:
  • Central data management
  • Peripheral data entry and usage
  • Archiving of your image data on external storage media (magneto optical disc)
  • Access on your data from every InViVo workstation
  • Access over different possible transfer media (LAN, Modem, ISDN, Satellite, etc. )
  • Import of DICOM images
  • Import and Export function for image data for computers without connectivity to the server
  • Restriction of data access through user accounts and access rights
This means a server-pc with the server-software will be build up on a suitable and secure place. On this PC the data will be stored and accessed over remote. If required the data will be archived on magneto optical disc.
You can access the data from every PC with the Invivo-Software within and outside the clinic and also store data from there, if you have a connection through Internet, Modem, ISDN, etc.
Moreover through import and export of images you can move data also from PC's without connection to the server-database.
If you have associates or partners, who want to access the data from outside the clinic or even far places, this is possible through the support of different transfer medias.
Resident doctors which have no supply for network functions could store their images further on in a local database. And if needed export them to a server-database.
