Trackerfree 3D Ultrasound Acquisition, Processing and Visualisation

With our integrated solution ›ScanLite‹ any conventional 2D ultrasound device can be easily upgraded to a 3D-ultrasound system offering free-hand scanning and the latest available technology for a very reasonable price.
Our ›ScanLite‹ freehand acquisition and 3D visualisation system offers lots of advantages:
  • Inexpensive, Software based on standard commercial hardware on PC’s under Windows NT 4.0 / Windows 2000
  • Free hand scanning without tracking device, reducing the hardware costs
  • All ultrasound scanners providing a video output connector can be upgraded without intervention into the device
  • Full 3D capabilities & functions, Arbitrary oblique cuts, 3D volume rendering in realtime, arbitrary view angles, segmentation tools, video output, etc.
  • Color Acquisition Mode
  • Capturing and export of livevideo sequences (e.g. from ultrasound) and storing in DICOM format
  • Integrated database & archive, For storing acquired datasets on-line in a database or archiving on external massstorage (MO-disc)
  • Superior technology, The system is the result of several years of R&D in co-operation with the Fraunhofer IGD. It offers unmatched computing performance, fastest volume rendering, superior image quality and several new, proprietary algorithms
