VeriSuite®
Patient Positioning and Verification
Patient Positioning and Verification System
VeriSuite® 2D/3D Feature automatically aligns two DRR images rendered from a high quality CT scan of the patient with two corresponding X-ray images acquired during the treatment.
Thereby it provides six-degrees-of-freedom correction vector with a sub-millimeter accuracy. X-ray acquisition, automatic registration and correction calculations are completed within a few
seconds allowing for seamless integration in the treatment workflow.
VeriSuite® 3D/3D Feature automatically aligns a high-quality CT scan of the patient with an in-room acquired 3D volume, either from an In-Room CT scanner or from MedCom’s own Recotom® CBCT reconstruction algorithm. Thereby it provides three or six degrees of freedom correction vector with sub-millimeter accuracy.
VeriSuite® ETR combines acquisition of X-ray images for planning and patient position correction for eye treatment in one application.
VeriSuite® functionality includes image acquisition, interfacing with Oncology Information Systems (e.g. Mosaiq® or Aria), image registration, calculations for automatic correction of the patient’s position and sending the correction vector to the therapy control system. Additionally patient pre-positioning in a ‘Setup Room’ outside the treatment unit is supported.
